Single-source supply

One supplier for marine collagen peptide and hydroxyapatite

Most brands formulating a collagen product with added calcium buy the two ingredients from two suppliers, in two currencies, against two sets of documentation, with two qualification cycles and two audits to manage.

We recover both from the same fish scale. The collagen peptide and the hydroxyapatite in your formulation can come from the same landing centre, the same species and the same processing lot — which means one supplier approval, one certificate of analysis chain, and one origin story you can put on a label and defend.

It also lowers your landed cost. Because the two materials share a feedstock, a collection network and a process train, neither carries the full overhead a single-product supplier has to recover.

What this means for you

  • One supplier qualification instead of two
  • Matched traceability — same species, same lot, same documentation
  • One point of accountability if a batch is queried
  • Shared overhead, so neither material carries it alone
  • A consistent origin claim for both actives on your label
Quality

Why quality matters to us

Your reputation rests on what you put in front of your customers. Ours rests on what we put in front of you. Here is how we approach it.

Feedstock we can name

We buy segregated scale from identified suppliers at named landing centres, with species and landing date recorded. Material outside our acceptance criteria does not enter production. Most quality problems in this industry are sourcing problems wearing a different hat.

Process discipline over equipment

Consistency comes from running defined parameters on a defined feedstock, not from owning the newest machine. Each stream has its own demineralisation and hydrolysis conditions, and deviations are recorded rather than absorbed.

Testing that means something

Every lot is released against protein, molecular weight, ash, moisture, heavy metals and microbiology. Retention samples are held from every batch for the full shelf life plus one year, so any later question can be answered with the actual material.

Live certification status, always

We publish exactly where every certification stands rather than displaying badges. Your QA team can plan around it, and nothing we tell you will ever be contradicted by a certificate.

Extended range

Also within our process capability

Our core range is collagen peptide and hydroxyapatite. The materials below use the same feedstock base and the same process train, and are produced to order.

To order

Fish Gelatin

From the same scale and skin feedstock under milder hydrolysis, retaining gel strength. Marine gelatin is acceptable in Halal and Kosher formulation where bovine and porcine are not. For food, confectionery and capsule applications.

To order

Fish Protein Hydrolysate

Recovered from frames, heads and trimmings — fractions that collagen extraction cannot use. For aquafeed, premium pet food and agricultural biostimulants.

Frequently asked

Buying marine collagen peptide and hydroxyapatite

Do you supply in bulk and wholesale quantities?

Yes. We supply Type I marine collagen peptide and marine hydroxyapatite in bulk, in 20 and 25 kg food-grade lined sacks, with customised packing available. Trial quantities are available for evaluation before a first commercial order.

Do you offer private label manufacturing?

Yes. We manufacture under customer brands, with formulation, format and pack design agreed in advance. We do not sell a competing consumer brand of our own, so a private label customer is not also a competitor.

Can you produce a custom formulation?

Within the capability of the process, yes. Tell us the molecular weight range, protein content, ash limit and solubility behaviour your formulation needs, and that becomes the contracted specification for your lots.

What is the difference between marine and bovine collagen?

Marine collagen is Type I and derived from fish; peptides are typically smaller than bovine, which supports faster absorption. Marine origin also avoids the dietary constraints that limit bovine and porcine collagen across much of the Indian market.

How is marine hydroxyapatite different from synthetic?

Marine-derived hydroxyapatite is nano-crystalline and carbonate-substituted — the form biological bone mineral takes — rather than the highly crystalline stoichiometric structure produced by chemical synthesis.

Can we get a sample before ordering?

Yes. Sample quantities are issued with a certificate of analysis so you can run your own verification. Request one through the quote form or the documentation request above.

Documentation and compliance

The paperwork that comes with the material

Ingredient buying is a documentation exercise as much as a product one. These are the documents we issue, available on request to qualified enquirers.

Certificate of Analysis

Batch-specific. Protein, molecular weight, ash, moisture, heavy metals and microbiology.

Request document

Technical Data Sheet

Product description, typical specification, functional properties, handling and storage.

Request document

Specification Sheet

Agreed parameters and limits against which each lot is released.

Request document

Allergen Statement

Declaration of allergen status and cross-contact controls. Fish is a declarable allergen in most markets.

Request document

Country of Origin

Origin declaration including species and landing region, for customs and labelling.

Request document

Safety Data Sheet

Handling, storage, transport and exposure information for the material as supplied.

Certification status

We state where we stand rather than implying more. This page is updated as each is achieved.

FSSAI — in progress HACCP — in progress ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000 — scheduled Halal — scheduled Kosher — scheduled MPEDA registration — in progress
Why we publish live status. Certification claims get verified at buyer audit. Publishing exactly where each certification stands means your QA team can plan around it, and means nothing we tell you will be contradicted by a certificate.
Document request

Request documentation

Tell us who you are and which documents you need. We respond to qualified enquiries within two working days.

Documents required *

We use these details only to respond to your enquiry and to keep a record of who we have issued documents to. We do not sell or share them. See our Privacy Policy.

Why we ask

Specifications and certificates identify our process and our sources. We issue them to named individuals at identifiable companies, which is standard practice among ingredient suppliers and protects both sides.

Response time

Two working days for qualified enquiries. If you need something urgently, call.
