TwinTucks Biosciences was founded on a simple observation: Tamil Nadu holds the raw material for India's fastest-growing collagen segment, and almost none of it is being used.
Who we are
TwinTucks Private Limited was incorporated in Chennai in July 2025 as a 100% women-promoted enterprise. We work exclusively on marine by-product valorisation — recovering collagen peptide, gelatin and protein hydrolysate from fish processing waste that would otherwise be discarded or sold at commodity prices.
We are a science-led manufacturer. Our work begins with characterising what is actually in the by-product stream at our landing centres, species by species and tissue by tissue, rather than assuming that published figures for tilapia and Atlantic cod apply to fish landed on the Coromandel coast.
How we work
We segregate feedstock rather than blend it, because collagen yield is a property of species and tissue, not of supplier. We measure before we process. And we design for full utilisation, because a business that can only use a tenth of what it collects is not a sustainable one.

Over 25 years in food and nutrition science with more than 25 peer-reviewed publications, and founder of an established food research laboratory. Leads feedstock characterisation, specification setting, extraction development and regulatory direction.

An experienced entrepreneur responsible for the supplier network and collection logistics, customer development, institutional partnerships and day-to-day execution.
Built on established collagen science
Our extraction route is transferred technology from CSIR-CLRI, and our laboratory work sits inside an established biotechnology park. This is why we can hold a specification rather than hope for one.
