Topical and ingestible beauty
Marine collagen has a long history in skincare formulation, valued for moisture retention and film-forming behaviour on the skin surface. Low molecular weight fractions are used in serums, creams and masks; higher fractions provide film and slip.
The ingestible beauty segment continues to grow faster than topical, and increasingly the same brand formulates both.

Calcium and biomedical
Recovered from the mineral fraction of fish scales. Marine hydroxyapatite is nano-structured and carbonated, making it closer in composition to human bone mineral than synthetic material. Near-term interest is food-grade calcium; longer-term potential lies in bone graft and dental applications.
Wound care and biomaterials
Collagen has a well-established role in wound dressings and as a matrix for tissue repair. We regard this as a long-horizon direction requiring medical device qualification, and are interested in speaking with partners working in the area.
