We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. This is a business-to-business website and is not directed at children.
3. Why we collect it, and on what basis
We process personal data for the following specified purposes, on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form:
- To respond to your enquiry.
- To assess whether we can meet your requirement, and to prepare a quotation or proposal.
- To issue technical documentation, specifications and certificates, and to maintain a record of to whom such documents have been issued.
- To maintain records of business correspondence as required for our own compliance and audit purposes.
We ask for identifying details before issuing technical documentation because those documents contain information about our processes, specifications and sources. This is standard practice among ingredient suppliers.
4. What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not share personal data with third parties for their own marketing.
- We do not add you to a marketing mailing list on the basis of a documentation request. If we later wish to send you material unrelated to your enquiry, we will ask you separately.
- We do not use personal data for automated decision-making or profiling.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal data only where it is necessary to operate this website and respond to you:
- Form and hosting providers. Form submissions and website hosting are handled by third-party service providers who process data on our instructions.
- Professional advisers. Our auditors, legal advisers or bankers, where reasonably required.
- Where required by law. To a court, regulator or government authority where we are legally obliged to disclose.
Some of these service providers may process data on servers located outside India. Where that is the case, we take reasonable steps to ensure the data is handled with appropriate protection.
6. How long we keep it
We retain enquiry correspondence and documentation request records for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, and thereafter for such period as we are required to retain business records under applicable law. Where personal data is no longer needed for any specified purpose and no legal requirement applies, we erase it.
7. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:
- Obtain confirmation of whether we are processing your personal data, and a summary of that data.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data, and completion or updating of it.
- Request erasure of your personal data, where it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected and no law requires us to retain it.
- Withdraw your consent at any time, with effect for the future.
- Nominate another individual to exercise these rights in the event of your death or incapacity.
- Make a grievance to us, and thereafter to the Data Protection Board of India.
To exercise any of these rights, write to info@twintucks.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
